Life's a journey...
Indeed, life is a journey. It's like sailing in the open seas. As captain, we would attempt to chart our own destiny. However, at times, sea, waves and swells bring us elsewhere, far from our desired destination.
There are times when we will be thrown away by big waves and stranded in the middle of nowhere with no one to turn to, or shoulder to cry on. There are times when we will end-up at places we never expected. And these unexpected places can be likened to doors waiting to be knocked on that will open to more opportunities. Indeed, challenges are opportunities for people with big heart and positive mind.
That's probably what happened to you, to me and everyone else.
What is most important is that despite those challenges, we persevere and never give-up. We take lessons and learning from our past experiences, bitter-sweet memories and mistakes and move forward. We “let bygones be bygones”. We don't let the past to haunt us, thus preventing us from moving forward and achieving our dreams.

There are so many doors, it's up to us which ones we choose to open. Sometimes we may open the wrong door. Consider it as a learning experience. The next time you decide to open another door, you'll know what to watch out for.
