Learning experience...

I cherished the years when I was in the UK as a student. Not only have I got one of the best learning experience, but also the exposure to a different culture, different climate, different people. The best exposure is the learning culture that encourages student to think for themselves and express ideas freely, no matter how weird or illogical the ideas can be. A culture that allows questioning and challenging ideas that has resulted in a very open-minded society. This culture does not flourish in the academic circle alone, but being practiced by the society as a whole. For example, taxpayer’s money is a big issue there and every government spending was given very close scrutiny to ensure that they benefit majority of the people. The public has a great say to any significant decision-making process.
